Chitwan National Park is located in the foothills of Himalayas, endowed with diverse flora and fauna flourishing in the most fertile region of Nepal called Chitwan valley. The valley is bounded by Mahabharat range up-north and Churia-Shiwalik hills in south which forms the international boundary with India. Chitwan National Park, famously known as the land of Rhinos or heart of the jungle is a 932 of protected core area along the courses of Naraynai and Rapti River channels. The park was formed in 1973, subsequently designated as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984 to protect the unique Terai habitats known to be a home to diverse flora and fauna. The 2016 census has declared a population of 635 rhinos, 120 Royal Bengal Tigers along with a rising number of critically endangered Ghariyal Crocodiles. The park is home to three protected reptiles of Nepal namely Ghariyal Crocodile, Golden Monitor Lizard and the Indian Rock Python.

  • 1: Arrive Kathmandu

    Arrive in Kathmandu. Meet and greet at the international airport. Then, transfer from airport to your hotel. Overnight at Hotel, Kathmandu
  • 2: Mountain Flight (Optional). Drive Kathmandu / Pokhara (200 kms / 06 hours drive)

    Early morning, Mountain Flight (Optional). In this spectacular Mountain Flight – Nepal, you will fly to the top of the world’s largest mountain range giving you a breathtaking scenic flight for 1-hour. You will see Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse (4th highest), Mount Makalu (5th highest) and many other peaks. Pokhara valley is a scenic 6 hour mountainside drive or a minute flight west of Kathmandu. It is famous for its lakes and its location beneath the towering Annapurna massif. It is highly recommendable to visit this scenic valley, stay in small resort hotels with views of the magnificent Himalayan peaks, go boating on the calm waters of the Phewa and the Begnas lakes or go on tours or day hikes in the nearby hills or if time permits, on a well-organized trekking holiday.   • 3: Visit Sarangkot, Half Day Sightseeing Tour of Pokhara City

    You will wake up before sun and head towards Sarangkot Hill to enjoy breathtaking sunrise. You can either trek or drive to reach the hill. You will be awestruck as the sun rises and rays falls on the white glistening mountain. If you love to devour yourself in views you can just stay there sipping coffee and watch the magnificent view. Or, if you are an adventure seeker then, you can try paragliding or zip line from here. Afternoon you will be taken to Pokhara city tour including major places like Davis Fall, Gupteshwor Mahadev, Phewa Lake, Taal Barahi temple, etc. Overnight at Hotel, Pokhara
  • 4: Drive Pokhara / Chitwan (145 kms / 04 hours drive), Half Day Jungle Activities

    Drive from Pokhara to Chitwan. In Nepali Chitwan means heart of the jungle. At Chitwan you will check into the hotel. Afternoon, half day jungle activities including village walk, visit to elephant breeding centre, culture dance, etc. Overnight at Hotel, Chitwan
  • 5: Full Day Jungle Activites

    Full day jungle activities like jungle walk, elephant bath, jeep safari / elephant back safari, dug-out canoe ride, bird watching, etc Overnight at Hotel, Chitwan
  • 6: Drive Chitwan / Kathmandu (175 kms / 5.5 hours drive)

    Drive from Chitwan to Kathmandu retracing the same highway. Upon reaching in Kathmandu, transfer to your hotel. Overnight at Hotel, Kathmandu
  • 7: Departure transfer

    Free until departure. Then, you will be transferred from your hotel to the international airport to board your flight back to home.

this trip is the best and wonderful trip I have ever visited. I got lot of things to see and get lots of knowledge on culture and arts with technology too in Bhutan. This is very economic too.
